Born 1958, Moscow. Graduated from Moscow Institute of Electronic Technology in 1981. Worked as engineer, afterwards head engineer at NIIMP, an electronic industry plant in Zelenograd, in 1981-1985. Main interests of that period: development of control systems and information signals processing systems. Authored 8 inventions and several science publications. Initiated creation of a youth housing complex in Zelenograd in 1986. Since that time: Head of NP MZhK Zelenograd, a company which is in charge of the entire housing construction in Zelenograd, operating as investor, project owner, general developer, general contractor, operating and maintenance organization for all construction project in the urban district. The technological pattern of construction and maintenance of housing created in that urban district in 1992 is unique for entire Russia. Currently Mr Raptovsky is Chairman of NP MZhK Zelenograd and TSZh “MZhK Zelenograd”. Since 2006: Lecturer at State Academy of Professional Upgrading in Russian Housing Construction and Maintenance Industry. Since 2007 has been working on a PhD thesis in State University of Management. Zelenograd’s MZhK urban district has become the city’s best administrative area and permanent award-winner at Moscow and Federal Competitions including Competition for Best Accomplished Project in Investment and Housing Construction. NP MZhK Zelenograd has been repeatedly awarded by honorary diplomas of Moscow Government and honored as company featuring high culture of housing production. А.Raptovsky was recipient of the title Honored Construction Specialist of the Russian Federation in 2008. Scope of interests: economy of innovations, economy of megalopolis.
